Do Peet’s Espresso capsules have a food grade shellac coating on the inside so the coffee grounds don’t actually come in contact with the aluminum?

Peet’s aluminum capsules are coated in a thin plastic food grade layer (same as Nespresso, and not shellac on the inside). This means the coffee is not in contact with the aluminum, and the plastic forms an air tight seal with the lid.
